In order to create clarity about the “Ordinance on the protection against harmful effects of non-ionizing radiation when used in humans”, NiSV for short, the Federal Ministry for the Environment (BMU) published the NiSV technical training guideline on March 25, 2020.
The NiSV stipulates that non-ionizing radiation for cosmetic or other non-medical purposes on people, in the context of commercial or other economic ventures, may only be used by those persons who can prove that they have the necessary specialist knowledge. For the first time, the guideline defines the exact training content and examination requirements for acquiring specialist knowledge.
In the Landsberg SkinHealth Academy, the requirements for the specialist modules: “Fundamentals of the skin”, “Laser / intensive light sources”, “Ultrasound”, “EMF cosmetics” and “EMF stimulation” are taught on the basis of the NiSV technical guidelines are still affordable.
As an external, scientific advisory board, these trainings are carried out under the professional guidance of Dr. med. Hans-Ulrich Jabs, MD, PhD, MACP-ASIM, specialist in internal medicine & biochemist. Dr. Jabs has a certificate of expertise in “radiation protection” and has worked in radiology and nuclear medicine for several years.
With his many years of experience in training doctors and specialized beauticians in dermatology, product and device knowledge, the training not only promises compliance with the dry regulation guidelines, but also tips and tricks for the professional use of the devices for an additional benefit for customers and as a unique selling point of Institute in Aesthetic Cosmetics.
The four specialist groups are “laser / intensive light sources”, “ultrasound”, “EMF cosmetics” and “EMF stimulation”. Each specialist group is made up of up to two specialist modules. Successful participation in a training course that covers all modules of a specialist group acquires the necessary specialist knowledge for this specialist group. For each specialist group, the specialist knowledge can be acquired separately. At the Landsberg SkinHealth Academy, these courses will also be affordable.

The NiSV is a regulation and not a law! It was issued by a subordinate authority of the BMU. - If a regulation is violated, the administrative court is responsible and decides on administrative fines, see road traffic regulations. If the law is violated, the penal code applies! There is currently no online catalog of fines that can be used for violations of the NiSV!
