Conventional UV care products
The UV protective effect of conventional UV care products is shown here.
So far there have only been two types of sun protection products
(UV cut products) UVA absorbers and UV scattering agents.
While UV absorbers absorb UV light themselves,
UV scattering agent prevents UV light from reaching the skin,
by allowing sunlight, including UV light, to bounce off.
UVA absorbers or UV scatterers are in most cases
mixed with titanium oxide or zinc oxide.
However, these UV absorbers have the disadvantage
that they are sparingly soluble with other solutions and crystallise.
For this reason, only a limited amount can be added.
UV scattering agents are powders which, due to their physical properties,
