Would you like to celebrate with me?

On October 18, I will turn 60. And I would like to celebrate it in a way that feels right to me: down-to-earth, where I originally come from. I come from a small village called Walberberg. And that is exactly where my roots are. I look forward to seeing the people who have remained close to me over the years.

There will be delicious food, great drinks—no fuss, simply a feel-good atmosphere. No dress code, no formalities. Please come in whatever you feel comfortable in.
I believe that, with so many different people, this evening will bring about some truly special encounters. Good conversations, genuine reunions, new connections.

There will be great music, there will be special show moments and
the rest will remain between us for now… I look forward to seeing you all.

A few words about Landhaus Wieler
Our families have known each other for generations. And anyone who has been there before knows why this place has such a good reputation. Excellent cuisine, genuine hospitality, and a team that thinks ahead and is simply there when you need them. That the hotel and restaurant have been doing so well for decades is no coincidence—it is quality. I am very pleased to be able to celebrate this evening at the Wieler house.

Private event, limited capacity
On this day, Landhaus Wieler is reserved entirely for us, including the restaurant, the large banquet hall, and all rooms. The banquet hall has its limits—more than 500 people simply does not make sense. Therefore, I kindly ask you to register briefly via the contact form. This has two reasons: we need to plan how many people will attend, and at the end of the evening a lovely prize will be raffled among all registered guests.
Afterwards, you will receive a short personal confirmation.

Walberberg children’s playground

Many still remember the children’s playground project, from the planning at the end of 2017 to completion in June 2018. That is why I would be especially delighted if everyone who supported it back then could join us this evening:

Donors, activists, entrepreneurs, people from politics and public administration, mayors, the parks department, the trade office, the youth welfare office, as well as the teachers at Walberberg Primary School and the educators from the Walberberg daycare centers.

The children from back then are teenagers today: if you feel like it, you are very welcome to join us.

The playground can now be used in many ways, with areas for the very youngest as well as for older children. And very importantly, there are places to sit, talk, and watch—because a good playground is also a meeting place.

What makes it special is not only the “standard play equipment”, but also the lovingly crafted details and real eye-catchers. These include the caterpillar tunnel, the stone castle artwork, and elements you do not find everywhere, such as the net above the round play element.
