The four specialist groups are “laser / intensive light sources”, “ultrasound”, “EMF cosmetics” and “EMF stimulation”. Each specialist group is made up of up to two specialist modules. Successful participation in a training course that covers all modules of a specialist group acquires the necessary specialist knowledge for this specialist group. For each specialist group, the specialist knowledge can be acquired separately.
The specialist knowledge should enable the safe use of non-ionizing radiation on humans. This includes, in particular, the professional operation of the systems used (devices, facilities or sources) and the avoidance of the risks associated with the applications.
The required specialist knowledge can be acquired through successful participation in a suitable training course (in accordance with Annex 3 of the NiSV).
